I've used both King Schools and FLY8MA. Honestly, FLY8MA felt a bit more engaging for me, less like just reading a textbook. The instructors are pretty good at explaining complex stuff simply.

It's subjective, but I preferred FLY8MA. King's felt a bit dated to me, and FLY8MA's video quality and explanations were just better. Plus, sometimes FLY8MA has better deals.

They do update them. I remember getting an email notification when they pushed out some changes to my instrument course after an FAA rule update. Pretty good about keeping things current.
